    “Carmina Burana” An Evening of Chamber Music with Members of the Webster University Wind Ensemble

    What/Who:           

    The members of the Webster University Wind Ensemble present an evening of Chamber Music featuring selections from Carl Orff’s 1937 landmark composition “Carmina Burana.”

    The Chamber Winds, Percussion Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble and the Brass Ensemble will perform additional chamber music.

    Brass Ensemble, James A. Martin, director:

                Haufrecht            “Suite for Brass”

    Saxophone Ensemble, Michael Karpowicz, director        

    Chamber Winds, Robert Carter, director, Tracy Smith, assistant director:

                Mozart                “Serenade No. 11 in Eb, K. 375”

    Percussion Ensemble, Henry Claude, director:

                Cage                  “Third Construction”

    When:            

    Monday, April 28, 2008, 7 p.m.

    $3 at the door, students free with valid identification
