San Antonio Webster University Counseling Program
Admission Process
Graduate Application: Complete an online application and submit fee to Webster University.
Admissions: Prospective students must successfully complete an admission process before entering the MA Counseling program. All required documents and information are to be addressed and mailed to:

Letters of Recommendations: Three letters of recommendation, including one from a former professor/instructor on his or her letterhead. If a former professor/instructor is not available, a third letter of recommendation from a professional is acceptable. The letters of recommendation are to be given directly to you. You will provide those letters as part of your admission package.
Admissions Essay Question: Provide your name, current date, term/year for which you are applying to the Counseling Program and current contact information (to include email and phone) at the top of the page.
Respond to the following statement in a 1-2 page type-written, double-spaced format.
| Comment on your personal and professional interests in the field of professional counseling. Include personal background and work history related to your interest in the field of professional counseling and career goals in the field of professional counseling; also include your thoughts regarding your potential success in forming effective and culturally relevant interpersonal relationships in individual and small group contexts and your aptitude for succeeding in graduate level education. |
Transcript: An unofficial transcript must be included in this admission packet. An official transcript must be on file at the Webster University Main Campus prior to the end of the first week of class of the student’s first term. The student will directly submit the official transcript to main campus.
