2. Who is Webster University?
Webster University is a private university founded in 1915, in St. Louis, Missouri. Approximately 22,000 students are currently enrolled at
more than 100 campuses in the U.S. and worldwide.
3. What degree programs do you offer in San Diego County?
At the graduate level, Webster University offers the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), and the Master of Arts (M.A.) with areas of concentration in Business and Organizational Security Management, Finance, Human Resources Management
or Management and Leadership.
At the undergraduate level, Webster University offers degree completion programs for the Bachelor of Arts in Management with an optional minor in Web Site Development
which is offered entirely online.
4. What does it cost to attend Webster University?
Webster is one of the most affordable universities in San Diego County.

5. What are my options for paying tuition?
Private company tuition reimbursement, Veterans Administration educational benefits, Military Tuition Assistance, deferred payment plan, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and personal check are acceptable methods of payment.
6. Is financial aid available?
Yes. Students are eligible to participate in the University's student loan program. The amount of financial aid available may vary for each student and is determined by the Financial Aid Office at Webster University ?s main campus in St. Louis.
7. Where are classes held locally?
Classes are held at the San Diego campus in Sorrento Valley just two miles east of the 805 freeway. The address is 6480 Weather Place, Suite 104, San Diego, CA 92121.
8. How are your classes scheduled?
Classes begin every nine weeks. Classes meet one night per
week from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
9. Do I have to take the SAT, GRE or the GMAT to be admitted to Webster University?
No. We believe that maturity and motivation are more accurate indicators of an adult learner?s potential for success than scores on standardized tests.
To qualify for graduate admission a student is not required to complete an entrance exam.
Full acceptance into the School of Business and Technology
requires receipt of an official transcript from the
baccalaureate granting institution with a minimum grade
point average (G.P.A.) of 2.5. Students whose G.P.A. is
above 2.0 but below 2.5 will be admitted under a "special
status" category.A graduate student is advanced to candidacy upon completion of 12 semester hours with a B average or above.
For undergraduate admission, students must have a minimum of 64 units of transfer credit or an Associate of Arts degree.
However, the university can accept up to 98 units in transfer
from various sources. Once accepted into the program a student must maintain a minimum C average.
10. What type of accreditation does Webster University have?
Webster University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
This accreditation covers both undergraduate and graduate classes at all locations where the University offers programs. The Council licenses Webster in California for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
11. What grade point average is required for entrance and continuing students?
Graduate: Full acceptance into the School of Business
and Technology requires receipt of an official transcript
from the baccalaureate granting institution with a minimum
grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.5. Students whose G.P.A.
is above 2.0 but below 2.5 will be admitted under a "special
status" category. Once enrolled the student is expected to maintain at least a B average.
Undergraduate: Students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
12. What is the average class size?
Although classes may range in size from 4 to 25 students, average class size is 11. This provides greater opportunity for collaborative learning and student-faculty interaction.
13. How long will it take me to complete my degree program?
By taking two courses per term, it is possible for you to complete the M.A. or the M.B.A. degree requirements in as little as 17 months.
B.A. degree completion depends on the amount of units transferred but it generally it takes an average of two and a half years going two nights per week.
