Policy Statement on Children and Guests

Children under the age of 16 are not to be left unattended on campus property. Students, faculty, staff, and visitors are responsible for their children or guests while on campus property. Students, faculty, or staff will be held accountable for any inappropriate behavior of their children or guests. Guests and visitors to the University are expected to abide by all University regulations and guidelines, including safety and public access restrictions. The University reserves the right to remove or restrict guests and visitors from its facilities who violate these guidelines or who cause disruptions to University programs, activities, services and/or guests. Non-registered students, guests, or children are not allowed in University classrooms or labs without advance approval of the instructor. Permission is granted at the discretion of the instructor. The conduct of a guest shall not interfere with the educational process or learning environment. Guests are the responsibility of the student and will be removed at the discretion of the instructor should the guests' conduct interfere with the class.
