Kevin Renick ’83 wrote the song for the credits of the feature film, “Up in the Air,” starring George Clooney. The film was shot mostly in the St. Louis area, and Renick originally gave a recording of the song, which is also titled “Up in the Air” to director Jason Reitman at a Q & A forum at Webster in St. Louis.

Leo Cortez, BFA ’84, was the director of “Camelot” at the Utah Festival Opera. He is the director of education and outreach and an actor with Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts Theaterfest in Santa Maria, Calif.

Genevieve Esson ’85 was one of nine artists chosen to paint a lion for a display on Delmar Blvd. in University City, Mo. Her lion was named “Winding Earth CamoLion.”

Ben Roseberry, BFA ’03, is starring as the hyena “Ed” in the San Diego production of Disney’s “The Lion King,” San Diego, Calif.

Amanda Wokurka-Marmer ’03, MA ’08, is the new director of marketing and communications for St. Elizabeth Academy in St. Louis. She is also an adjunct professor in the School of Communications at Webster.

Gabe Bullard ’07 was featured on the NPR show “Morning Edition” where he broadcast a story about football in Louisville, Ky. He is a reporter for Louisville’s NPR station 89.3 FM WFPL.

Ann Marr ’07 was recently profiled in the St. Louis Business Journal. She is the vice president of human resources at World Wide Technology.

Elizabeth Oppermann ’07 is the new administrator for Mathis, Marifian, Richter and Grandy Ltd. law firm.

Crystal Ramey ’07 is the new marketing coordinator for Kwame Building Group in St. Louis.

Natalie Wisdom, BFA ’07, is currently on Broadway in the cast of “Billy Elliot the Musical.”
