Perhaps the most interesting comment was made by Riefenstahl herself: " It (Triumph des Willens) casts such a shadow over my life that death will be a blessed release."

A shadow indeed. When I first constructed this page, I never expected that a neo-Nazi site would link directly to it. If you did not come here from the page I posted in response, where their link still goes, you are invited to view it nonetheless.

Leni Riefenstahl died on 9 September 2003 at the age of 101.
