TOPICS OF DISCUSSION FROM THE DOGTOWN E-MAIL LIST

An experiement in e-history, a modern cousin of oral history

On October 25, 1999 I sent the first note of the Dogtown e-mail list to 9 people, inviting and opening discussion. It has grown and now there are approaching 100 people (June 3, 2001). I have saved most of the messages posted to the dicussion list and have since the beginning planned to eventually mount them as piece of e-history, a written form of oral history made possible by internet technology. Enjoy, please encourage others to participate, and don't hesitate to join our discussion group.

IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE ON THE MAILING LIST JUST SEND ME A NOTE AND I'LL PUT YOU ON.
