MY LITTLE BOY

I wrote this for my son when he was 6 years old. He will be 56 in May 2003.

Little girls with golden curls

In pink and white attire

In frilly clothes and sweet hair bows

Could be my hearts desire



But a little boy who jumps for joy

In boots and jeans undaunted

In cowboy shirt, blue stripe on dirt

Leaves nothing to be wanted
