12320: Missionary workers robbed in PaP (fwd)

From: Frank and Leslee Jacobs <fjacobs@cyberenet.net>

Leslee Jacobs and Katherine Rosia were robbed at gunpoint leaving the
Port au Prince airport this past Thrusday , June 13.
The two were traveling with two Haitian friends who picked them up at the
airport. In a traffic jam ,2 Haitians pulled up next to them on a motorcycle
, pulled out a gun at the driver's side window and made off with 2 purses.
Passport, plane tickets and cash were lost. All were shaken up but thank God
are ok.
Leslee is the vice president of Hope Alive! Clinic Ministries, a
Christian based relief organization based out of Medford, New Jersey which
has a medical clinic in Mariani , and Katherine is a Hatian born American
who serves on the board of directors. The two were in Haiti to open a second
clinic in Tricon.
Be careful when in Haiti. Hide valuables and pray for God's protection.
A few bad "pommes " don't spoil the whole bunch .
