REPORT BACK from LATIN AMERICA SOLIDARITY
COALITION INTERNATIONAL TRIBUNAL ON HAITI
with Chief Investigative Judge Leonel Baptiste and moderated
by author journalist Kari Lyderson.

This past Friday September 23 the Latin America Solidarity
Coalition of which the Chicago Organizing Group is part
initiated the International Tribunal on Haiti at George
Washington University in Washington DC.

The International Tribunal on Haiti intends to
END the massacres by the US imposed government
following the US kidnaping of democratically elected
President Jean Bertrand Aristide FEBRUARY 29 2004

The governments of the US and France and Canada have
been systematically working to destabilize the Aristide
government. The government propped up to replace the
democratically elected one is of the old goon squads.

Massacres in the poor neighborhoods occur frequently and
the UN is implicated.

In the initiating of the Tribunal evidence was graphically
presented of wanton killing of innocent civilians, a reign
of terror.

The Tribunal has named certain Haitian, US, Canadian
and Brazilian officials for having directly committed or
to have allowed commitment of war crimes, crimes
against humanity.

The Tribunal hearn testimony describing how the
NED, National Endowment for Democracy, has been
working behind the scenes to create conditions leading
to the coup and kidnaping.

Leonel Bapitste, as Chief Investigative Judge of the
International Tribunal, will discuss the findings and
procedure for carrying forth.

Kari Lyderson, author of From the Frying Pan
Into the Fire, will facilitate discussion.
