Indeed, mathematics can be learnt in ANY language:

The French do it in French. 
The Finns do it in Finnish.  
The Afrikaners do it in Afrikaans.
The Japanese do it in Japanese.
The Germans do it in German.
Etc...

Thus, Haitians can also do it in their language, namely Haitian Creole.
