From:rosiesa@earlham.edu

In Haiti, the word "chimè" is currently used to describe nervous people
who sometimes go to the streets, take part in violence activities.
Politically, it also describes those who prevent the opponents parties
from organizing public meetings. If someone calls you 'Chimè', that means
you are representative of desorder.
