Dear Prof. McAlister:

My thanks to you for speaking out with kinds words
about the "religious tradition" of Haiti.

In Haiti, we understand the "racist/imperialist" doctrine
and practice and their constant negative propaganda
against us people of African origin.

Our "African religious tradition" is described as "Evil Spirit,"
"Sorcery" and "Wicthcraft" in those "racist/imperialist" books,
such as the Britannica, the Oxford, and the Webster
Encyclopedia Dictionaries.

The "racist/imperialist" use words such as VODOU, VOODOO,
VAUDOUX, VOOVOO, DOODOO, DADA or "VOODOO ECONOMICS,"
"VOODOO EMBARGO," "VOODOO BLOCKAGE," "VOODOO POLITICS,"
and so forth... All these words are labels of negative propaganda against
us people of African origin.

In spite of all this "NEGATIVE PROPAGANDA,"
"Haiti's religious tradition" will stand forever in the
Spirit of BOIS CAIMAN's ceremonies and with its initiates.

Once more, I thank you in the Spirit of my African ancestors.

Yours sincerely,
