In 1981, the lodge issued it's first NOAC flap. Some were used as
trader
flaps and others were sewn onto contingent hats (If you trade for one
make
sure you look for holes!). The S3 is an unusually shaped cut-edge with
a
gray border and a multicolored background. The fdl is black.
'Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee'
and 159 are stitched in black on the brown longhouse. The words '1981
NATIONAL CONFERENCE DELEGATE' are at the bottom of the flap, stitched
in black. The
flap was hand stitched. Thus, no two are exactly alike. This is a real
tough piece to find. |
